Two years later
Yes I still exist and the bison are still here. Both the herd and I have changed but we are still here. I think know them better now than most people ever will and they too recognize me as an individual human who is different from the strange people they sometimes see on the road. Their view of the universe and their place in it is very different than that of most humans today, but I think we could learn a lot from them.
